Here are our Eligibility Requirements:

- You must be enrolled in a Virginia Ready approved course. For Sentara College of Health Sciences, that means you must be enrolled in their Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant program.
- You must be able to submit your application before or within the first 5 calendar days of your course starting. Keep in mind the first calendar day is the first day of your class or program.
- You must be domiciled in Virginia, which means your fixed home is located in Virginia and has been for at least one year.
As long as you meet these eligibility requirements, you can start the application process by going to our Become a Scholar page and following the directions there. To apply, you must create an account, complete our eligibility form, and fill out the application, all of which can be accessed through that page.
