In order to apply for Virginia Ready you must ensure you meet Virginia Ready’s eligibility criteria. View our full criteria and learn more about the application process on our Become a Scholar page.
Here are our Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be enrolled in a Virginia Ready approved course.
- You must be able to submit your application before or within the first 5 calendar days of your course starting. Keep in mind the first calendar day is the first day of your class or program.
- You must be domiciled in Virginia, which means your fixed home is located in Virginia and has been for at least one year.
After enrolling in a course, navigate to our Become a Scholar page to submit your application no later than 5 calendar days after your course’s start date.
If you need assistance with enrolling in a FastForward course please visit www.fastforwardva.org and fill out the blue “Request more information” form at the bottom of the webpage. A representative from the community college will reach out to you about next steps on how to enroll.
